Why to Prenatal Yoga?


During pregnancy many changes occur within a woman’s body. The pregnancy hormones and bearing extra weight in a very short period, and the many other annoying sensations like heartburn, lightheadedness, growling sensation in the stomach… This could be of a traumatising effect on her body and causes tiredness and fatigue. Many women also suffer morning sickness mostly during the 1st trimester of their pregnancy. Many changes in their breasts, skin, mood, vagina and waste elimination.

Antenatal classes help you and your partner in dealing with your pregnancy, preparing for labour and parenthood and guides you through all stages from early pregnancy to labour, recovery and childcare. These classes will cover breathing techniques, many physical exercises to get you strong and ready and to use during labour, pain management, relaxation methods for emotional balance, meditations to connect with your baby, and many tips and advices to help you through out pregnancy and labour.

The workshop is divided in 4 parts and is recommended after finishing the 1st trimester of pregnancy, to avoid any risk. After the pregnancy is stable, so it’s safer for mother and baby.

The workshop includes 4 sessions of 90 mins:


  • Healthy happy pregnancy (women only): In this session you will learn the breathing techniques and exercises that will get you calm, strong, fit and ready for labour.
  • Pain management & emotional health during pregnancy (couples class): In this session you will learn many soothing breathing techniques and exercises that will help in pain management. Your partner will understand as well how to be there for you and help ease your pain.
  • Preparing for labour (women only): In this session you will learn how to use Yoga breathing techniques and exercises during labour to manage the pain, increase contractions, enhance dilation and induce labour and speed it up.
  • Labour (couples class): In this session you will exercise along with your partner who will learn how to be there for you and help you during labour.

Please make sure to arrive 15 mins before time to change and get ready.

For a better understanding and result, we advise that you follow the 4 sessions to complete the content of the workshop.

The costs:

  • 4 x sessions of 90 mins: €150
  • only 1 x session €50 (couples class)
  • only 1 x session €30 (women only)
